Non-Governmental Organizations–that is, charities, nonprofits, and the like–can be found everywhere, and their global reach means that they rely on global communications. Establishing a new generic top-level domain (new gTLD) available only to registered and authorized NGOs will enhance the choice, transparency, and security of their operations.
